Painting - Elizabeth I, Younger

This is the third in my women series of mixed media paintings -
This is "Elizabeth I, Younger" done in mixed media - acrylics, assorted papers, Prismacolors.  My favorite part of this painting was adding the beaded crown.  I love to throw people off guard...

Lisa,
You don't know me...but I stumbled on your blog tonight. Your art is so very beautiful.
As I began to read your earlier posts, I realized I had stumbled onto something that has captured my heart.
Your honesty about the loss of your husband is, well, it leaves me speechless.
I am so glad to see that you are back making your beautiful art.
Thank you for sharing...it helps the rest of us out here that have been on the same journey.
Hugs,
Lana

This woman is very vibrant and glowing. I do feel that she is royalty. The blue eyes are so intense and magnetic. This picture is very ethereal and dreamy. Love the addition of the beaded crown.
